Giant 40 foot Veena installed in Ayodhya : Tribute to Lata Mangeshkar on her birth anniversary.

Recently a 40 foot huge Veena is being installed in Ayodhya, as a tribute to the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on her 93rd Birth anniversary, the “Lata Mangeshkar chauraha” will be inaugurated by PM Modi virtually on Wednesday. The newly made chauraha is being made under the budget of 7.9 crore which is situated on the bank of Sarayu river.
This is possibly one of the first thing which is being installed across the country which is 40 foot long and 12 meters high and with 14 tones of weight. The administration is presently thinking to make the intersection a very beautiful centre of attraction for tourists and the music lovers.

Another thing which makes this VEENA even more special that veena which is being installed is made by Padma Shree Ram Suthar who took approximately 2 months of time to make such a beautiful piece of art. Special invitation is also being given to the sister of Late singer who is also a great singer Usha Mangeshkar along with her other family members for the inauguration of the intersection.
PM Modi will be inaugurating it in the presence of UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath, and Union Tourism Minister will also be present.


On occasion of her birth anniversary PM Modi today morning paid her a tribute by tweeting, the legendary singer who was born on 28th of September 1929 started her singing career at a very young age of 13, and after that she never looked back an recorded over thousands of Hindi songs and other regional songs, she died at the age of 92 on 6th February due to multiple organ damage.
