A beautiful and magnificient Hindu temple is being opened in Dubai recently. The temple made up with the prefect blend of Hindu and Arabic architectural designs inaugurated in Jebel Ali Village, which preaches the message of peace, harmony and tolerance.
The temple with such a message was inaugurated on Tuesday, and the inauguration of the Hindu temple in Dubai was done by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence & Amb. On this occasion Ambassador Ambassador Sunjay Sudhir thanked the UAE government as they helped and supported the 3.5 million family of Indians in UAE by tweeting it. The opening ceremony of the temple was reported by the Khaleej Times newspaper.
While the inauguration of the temple the priests chanted “Om shanti Shanti Om” and the musicians also played the Dhol while the prayer was going on. The Jeble Ali place which is now famous as the “Worship village” now consists of nine religious shrines, including seven churches, the Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara, and the new Hindu house of worship.
Further talking about the opening of the new Hindu temple ,Mr. Sudhir said: “It is welcome news for the Indian community that a new Hindu temple is being inaugurated in Dubai today. The temple’s opening serves the religious aspirations of the large Hindu community living in the U.A.E.
The plan for the construction of this 70,000 sq. feet temple was announced in 2020 just after the city came out from the threat of Pandemic. Talking about the architecture of the temple it is beautiful carved with the mixture of Indian and Arabic style of architecture, the beautiful hand carving on the pillars and walls makes the temple a unique and outstanding piece in itself.
