PM Modi inaugurated Mahakal Corridor in Ujjain.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the Mahakal Corridor in Ujjain and dedicated the Nation with such a auspicious thing. After the inauguration the corridor, he also performed the puja at Mahakal temple.
If talking about the new project which was yesterday inaugurated by him , the total project costed around 856 crore for the 900 meters long corridor. The corridor is said to be one of the longest corridor across the country.
On arriving to the Mahakal temple, Prime Minister was accompanied by Madhya Pradesh governor Mangu Bhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, all of them greeted the Sadhus and other priest present over there , the Prime Minister then inaugurated the replica of Shivling which was dedicated to the Mahakal Lok, with the remote like device. After the inauguration was done PM along with Chouhan and Patel took a ride around the corridor on battery operated open car.


Two majestic gateways — ‘Nandi Dwar’ and ‘Pinaki Dwar’ — separated by a short distance have been erected near the starting point of the corridor which winds its way to the temple’s entrance. Modi performed puja with rituals conducted by a team of priests led by chief priest Ghanshyam Pujari for nearly 20 minutes and later meditated for ten minutes by holding Bel Patra (bel leaf) and a string of Rudraskh in his hands.
He also sat beside the ‘Nandi’ and performed puja. Later Modi offered a donation by putting money in a special box. The inauguration of Mahakal corridor added the beauty to the country, and hasnow become the tourists attraction.
