Vande Bharat not safe for animals ? : Hits a cow day after hitting buffaloes.
Looks like the newly launched Vande Bharat isn’t safe for animals. Another incident has been recorded on Friday. Just after a day when the Vande Bharat Bullet Train hit a buffalo, it again hit a cow near the Anand Station in Gujarat on Friday. Due to which the front portion of the train got damaged and the train halted for 10 minutes. Fortunately the incident took place on the day when Union Railway minister was in Anand district of Gujarat in order to interact with the students
If talking about the incident which took place on Thursday, the newly launched Semi- speed bullet train hit 4 buffaloes due to which the front potion or the ‘nose’ of the train was damaged and the train then finally proceeded after a halt of almost 8 minutes, as a result after hitting the cattle, buffaloes died on the spot. The incident happened in between the Vatva and Maninagar stations in Ahmedabad.
When asked the Railway minister on such incidents happening back to back , Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that these incidents happening across the country are unavoidable and these matters will be considered, he also made it clear that the ‘nose’ of the train is totally replaceable and all these things were kept in mind while designing.
If talking about the newly launched Vande Bharat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the train last month and travelled in it from Gandhinagar till Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad. Trian’s highest speed is 160km per hour in just 2mins. Introduction of these trains between Gujrat and Maharashtra made it even more easy for the passengers who generally travel on daily basis. But incidents like these generate questions in the mind of passengers if it is safe for them to travel in it or not.
